Steam Locomotive No. 705 has had its boiler welds tested successfully via a MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspection) and a UT (Ultrasonic Test). This now means the boiler can be hydraulically tested.
The roof of the soon to be constructed pagoda at Plym Bridge is taking shape. The frame has been constructed from scratch by Ivor Stapp and once constructed will give shelter at Plym Bridge and will also be able to be used for special events.
The TKH locomotive ‘Vanguard’ has had the smokebox ring and door fitted as well as the coal bunker sliding doors and ca side- some great progress on the restoration of the engine.
The Buffet at Marsh Mills has been painted internally to brighten it up. Thanks to the volunteers who have helped with this.
