Have you ever wanted to drive a train and learn more about the railway industry? During the 200th anniversary year why not join us on 27 July for a day of learning about the railway industry. Under the careful supervision of our crews take to the rails and enjoy an introduction to driving. We will be offering the chance to see how the role of a driver has developed from locomotive hauled operations to Diesel Multiple Units similar to those that run on the mainline to date! We hope to inspire the next generation of drivers and demonstrate the skills that are required of a train driver.
